This Privacy Policy explains what data Tradaccel collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this short on purpose — if anything is unclear, email hello@tradaccel.com.
What we collect
- Account info: your name, email address, and a hashed password.
- Your trading content: trades, journal entries, daily plans, and any notes you add.
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, and approximate location (from IP) for analytics.
- Device info: browser type, OS, and screen size for debugging and responsive design.
What we don't collect
- Your broker credentials. We never ask for passwords to third-party services.
- Your real trading P&L unless you choose to enter it manually.
- Payment card numbers — those are handled by our payment processor (Stripe) and never touch our servers.
How we use it
- To operate and improve the Service.
- To send transactional emails (verification codes, password resets, weekly reviews if enabled).
- To debug issues, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests.
We do not sell your data, ever. We do not show third-party ads. We do not share Your Content with data brokers.
Who we share it with
We share data only with the third-party processors that make the Service work:
- Resend — to deliver verification and notification emails.
- Stripe — if you subscribe to a paid plan, for billing only.
- Our hosting provider — to serve the Service.
Each of these is bound by a Data Processing Agreement and processes data only on our instructions.
Cookies
We use a small number of first-party cookies and localStorage entries:
- Essential: signing you in, remembering your theme, persisting your preferences.
- Analytics (optional, off by default): aggregated, anonymized page-view counts so we can improve the product.
No third-party advertising cookies. You can manage your preferences from the cookie banner the first time you visit, or anytime in your browser settings.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you (Settings → Data & Export).
- Correct inaccurate information (Settings → Profile).
- Delete your account and all associated data at any time (Settings → Data & Export → Danger Zone).
- Export a CSV copy of your trades and journal entries on demand.
- Object to any non-essential processing — contact us at hello@tradaccel.com.
Security
Passwords are hashed with industry-standard algorithms. Data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS. We back up production data daily and restrict employee access on a need-to-know basis. No system is perfect, but we take this seriously.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. After you delete your account, we remove your content within 30 days and purge it from backups within 90 days.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email and post the updated policy here with a new "Last updated" date.
